Results by SMS
This service is only available between April 24th 12:00 PM and April 25th 8:00 PM
In coöperation with Muze, an organization from Enschede specialized in 'intelligent messaging', the Batavierenrace gives you the opportunity to make use of a number of SMS-services. Within two minutes after finishing your stage, you can receive the times and speeds of your own stage, or your teammates results, on your cell-phone. Of course it is also possible to look at the results of another team.
When you want to receive the results of óne stage of óne team, you must send the next message:
"Bata <teamnumber> <stagenumber>" to 2121
For example: if you want to know how fast team 181 ran at stage 8, you must send "BATA 181 8" to 2121.
This service will cost you €0,40 for every received message, excluding the costs of the use of your cell phone. You will receive only 1 message.
When you want to receive the results of all stages of one team, you must send the message:
"BATA <teamnumber> AAN" to 2121.
For example: To receive a message at the finish of every runner of team 181, you must send "BATA 181 AAN" to 2121.
When you don't want to make use of the service anymore, you must send the message "BATA <teamnumber> UIT" to 2121.
This service costs €0,25 per received message, excluding the costs of the use
of your own cell phone. You receive a maximum number of 25 messages.
Note: All times you receive by SMS are the times as they are known at that moment. This means the times are only an indication, it may be that a correction is needed because of a penalty. These times are unofficial and therefore in no way claimable at the final results.
All messages will contain Dutch language.
